Life as it is…

I’m sure all of us are aware of the current situation in India. I guess it is too early to point fingers or even figure out why this is happening. But what one needs to understand is that this is Reality. The world is no more a bed of roses and the question of survival of the fittest(rather luckiest) seems to be the theme of the present life In the words of Pascal “When we consider the short duration of life, swallowed up in the eternity before and after, the little space which we fill, and even can see, engulfed in the infinite immensity of spaces of which we are ignorant about, number of thoughts cross my mind what are we doing here? There is a sense of satisfaction when you do something good,but this was something different,the type that not only makes you feel good but the other too.Not so long back a friend happened to tell me casually about a blind school he had visited.Recollecting the number of assginments pending I did not think much about joining him,not until i watched a man carefully climb a bus with the help of his stick.His disability to see did not hinder his steps.He knew the exact number of steps and din't falter even once,now was that because of practice or was that a talent?I sure do not know,but this made me realize the potential that I could discover in the young bloods of the blind school.I was soon teaching there,nothing less than i expected they knew their tables by heart,sung the national anthem to perfection and are the fastest learners I have ever come across. A night with a difference

A vivid image of a dark night Only a crescent moon shining bright The Amazon merging in with my skin The green waters filling my legs unto the brim. All night long i chase the Boar, Filling my gut till i want no more. Alas!how is this of use to me? For the end of the day a mere coat i be.
